Not a good start for Pelley’s tenure. You wasted another year and resources on this team after we all knew they didn’t have it. “I just got here” isn’t an excuse. Shape up and be better.
Can we fire Pelley if we don’t win the cup next year too?
This organization is so cautious similar too the way the team plays. It could easily be 100 years without a cup but at least MLSE has fulfilled its DEI mandate and the cash box is full. To me the Leafs need another team in the GTA to pressure the organization not the players

Already most expensive tickets going up 20%. Sweater sales will increase after #16 and #9 are replaced with new shiny numbers. Beer sales were good, but need to be increased. A decade ago , we were just getting comfortable being losers for over another decade. This mild success in the last decade of making the playoffs seems harder because expectations were higher. When the Will doesn’t exceed the Skill is when it’s hard to deal. Copium. I appreciate the loyalty and respect that Shanny brought back to the past. Being an alumni can be cherished again. We cherish players who won no cup but at least tried and showed more will versus skill in their games.

I’m in minority but I don’t like the shanahan firing, yes he made mistakes hiring dubas and keeping him too long maybe cuddling the stars but it’s not all his fault . Time will tell hoping for the best
Leafs lost the series in game 3 , up 2-0 and blow it, then don't show up in 5&7 not he fault of management, although cap space was an issue which Shanahan didn't handle poperlt

I hope fans keep this ownership group accountable. They never comment on the fact that this organization has not made a Stanley Cup final since 1967 let alone won a cup. Every fan that cheers for the leafs get ridiculed and made fun of, meanwhile every year they don't get any closer. Wanting to be a winner means not accepting mediocrity. The leafs have been mediocre for a decade plus and it needs to be fixed. Start with making a statement by breaking this core of players up and change the play style to a heavier game like Florida. They ran the leafs show and are doing it again to Carolina.
