This game shouldn’t have been 5-2. The canes actually played their system well today, they made just as many mistakes as they normally do, Florida just knows how to bury them. Those are also saves that Anderson makes the last 2 rounds to bail out his team. This game was evenly played for the first half, Bob was just better than Anderson. The second half was dominated by the canes, but Bob was just fantastic. Canes have to find a way to win game 2 or it’s gonna be over quick.
This YouTube uploader (Shannon?) continues to use an intro photo showing a shot of the wrong game, i.e. he showed the Canes wearing their road whites while the Panthers wore their home reds. I think Shannon did this purposely to confuse his audience!
Scott Morrow gave up 3 goals directly on the ice, and a 4th on a bad penalty. Feel terrible for that kid, but it will look different with him out of the line up next game. Absolute must win on Thursday for Carolina.

I can understand the reasoning why that first Canes goal counted… but man if thats not a kick then we should just get rid of the rule cause I swear that would get called a kick 8/10 times but it didnt and it didnt matter in the end but it just feels silly.

Marchand gets away with so much, including hits off the puck. But I have to say the resulting drama in the third is just part of why payoff hockey is the best thing in all of sports.
If we (CANES) win game two, AT HOME convincingly then we have a chance. If we don’t win with an exclamation point we lose the series. I’m a huge Canes fan but last nights game was telling. What’s telling is the NHL has two rules books. One for regular season and one for the playoffs. BS.
