everyone staying dive on hintz has never been touched in the top of the foot……like ever. one of the easiest places to break something. and skate laces don't really protect that area lol

Please explain why rule 61.3 doesn't require that slash on Hintz to be a Major penalty.

I like how you menftioned that the slash should just be a minor. The dallas coach was ranting on about how "if that was mcdavid, we all know what would've happened." I don't understand what makes a slash a five minute penalty anyways. Is it the intent or just the severity?

I know a lot of people are saying that was a stupid penalty by Nurse, and it kinda is, but… 1) sure looks like Hintz is selling it, as it's a waist down swing, and 2) if it was 2 inches higher (on the shin pad instead of the foot) it probably wouldn't have even been a penalty (other then if he dove)

It feels a bit like the Avs/Stars series. The Avs outplayed them 5 or 6 games. Dallas just seems to find a way.

Dude, how is Nurse's slash not a major and possibly a suspension when he intentionally caused an injury? The refs are wildly inconsistent with the rules, and the same can be said about the Situation Room (i.e. Toronto) after last night. I mean, if Nurse simply flicked his stick back, that's one thing and a clear minor. However, he clearly wound up for the slash, which is with intent and should be a major plus misconduct for causing an injury.
