I really did question Blake's acquisitions in the off-season and trade deadline…but the way this team works together is awesome. Foegele has performed way better than I ever imagined and I love his enthusiasm to stick it to the Oilers. Kuemper is playing at his peak. Gavrikov is awesome, as always. I love Kuzmenko and how he fit right in with the team. That usually doesn't happen with trade deadline acquisitions with the Kings, Gaborik excepted.
People keep calling for Blake's job if the Kings get knocked out in the first round again. I disagree. Apart from PLD, his decisions have been questionable, but they work. Can you argue with a 105-point regular season? The playoffs are different and sometimes a crap shoot.
