If the Canucks don’t keep their pick they are admitting they want to be a permanent subpar team for years to come. They will never be a legit contender and probably never see beyond the second round at their best. This team should have done a complete rebuild 5-6 years ago but instead they convinced themselves they were only a player or 2 from being a contender..and if the Queen had nuts she’d be King.
The Canucks are on their way to getting their way to getting the first overall pick in 2027, which we will probably have traded away for a rental
