For the most part, I liked the job Jarmo did here in Columbus. He drafted and scouted well as that's his forte. Two things got him in trouble here in Columbus- 1) every time he made a mistake, he made a bigger one trying to fix it. For example, he hired Brad Larsen as head coach, then tried to hire Mike Babcock to fix the problem. Secondly, although he public denied players didn't want to play in Columbus, he seemed to show signs he actually believed it by jumping the gun and dishing out some bad contracts, like Alexander Wennberg, Elvis Merzlikins, Patrik Laine and Damon Severson.
