Well first Fla is not really playing that radically different than what they did to the Leafs and then the Hurricanes. You analyzed it correctly when you showed they always have 2 players on the puck handler. Edmonton or any opposing team has to study what the Leafs did them and you documented in Game 6 a 2-0 Leaf Victory. Edmonton must neutralize Marchand, Bennett and 2 or 3 other players. Bobrovsky can be beat but he must be out of position. Edmonton still has home ice advantage but Game 4 is critical for them heading home after.

The best thing about this is the sinking feeling Oiler fans must be having. Relax, you could still come back. But SOOOO many of you were falling for ALLLL the hype about "this year is DIFFERENT", and the whole McDavid/Gretzky/Crosby, losing the cup the "first time" and then winning it the next. You guys ACTUALLY believed your team was set for a strong win in this series. That they had "figured out" the Panthers or the Panthers would be worn out.
Simple fact is…while the Oil have played better hockey this season than last, and are arguably "better", so are the Panthers. This is a better team than last years cup team. Deeper. And you all were in denial about that. And now you're seeing it. Serves you right. You needed some cold water thrown on your faces. And game 3, the Oilers looked like LAST year's team. That should make you very nervous.
Better hope they win game 4 because, while anything can happen in parity NHL, it's still not likely they'll come back like last year.

B's fan. This may be an unpopular opinion, but Skinner wasn't totally to blame for the G3 debacle. Broken play for Marchy's goal – the Panthers create chaos, and it worked. Skinner was aggressive in attempting to track, and it didn't work. However, no Oilers were doing anything about it. Panthers' net front was and has been awesome throughout the series. That PP goal – no one stops that passing play…textbook. 2 on 0? Podkolzin actually makes a good play and that goal may not happen. Bennett had a clear path and pace from near center ice. Collectively, it doesn't look good, but I think (and kind of hope) Skinner starts G4. Cats in 6.
