Absolutely is on Skinner. It's not entirely his fault, but his career .894 SV% in the playoffs is not gonna win a cup. No team has won the cup since a long time ago (pre-lockout) with a SV% under .900. Not gonna happen even with McJesus and Drai
Does everyone in here seem to forget when the oilers came back in game 4 last year to beat the cats 8-1? Blowouts happen, even in the finals, no team is perfect, and the oilers did not show up in this game mentally or physically. But this series is far from over. And for those who blame every oilers loss on stu, you know nothing about hockey, or the difficulties of being an NHL goaltender. If the tide was turned and oilers dominated the panthers as bad as they got dominated in that game they are losing just as badly, does not matter who is in net. No goalie is winning a game entirely themselves when the defence in front of them is basically a pylon. Again remember oilers walked all over the cats in game 4 last year and dominated them even worse than this game 3 loss. Oil will bounce back, mark my word!

This wasnt on skinner. The defense were a bunch of pylons, half the first period was 5v4, how many times was a man left in all alone? First goal was bad admittedly but thebothers yeah youd like him to have it but youd also like the defenseman to you know cover their man so people arent left open for wide open shots. We might hat to admit it but the panthers have shooters and snipers on their team. 3 stacked lines. You need more from your d if you want to win the series.

Skinner allowed 3 goals on the short side, these are the Finals and can't happen. Pickard the rest of the way and they may have a chance. Also Oilers gotta initiate not retaliate like Gretzky said. Also McDavid and Draistl have to start picking corners like Benett and Marchand.

Florida won in a track meet. That's what's making Edmonton break down. Florida is deeper, they are bigger, they are more disciplined, they have the better goalie, and they are fast with the a ility to light you up in a moment. But I guess Edmonton has to try and find a path. That path includes Florida letting their guard down like last year and like the first two games.
Put Nurse in net for game 4. At least he won't get beat up there!
Oilers played their best game in Game 1 and that same game was probably the worst I ever seen the Panthers, this post-season. That game ended up in OT with oilers barely winning.
In Game 3 that's the best the Panthers have looked and the worst the Oilers looked and Oilers got walked all over the rink.
I am starting to think these teams are not quite as close as we initially thought.
The series will be put of reach by the time we start winning with pickard.

The Edmonton Oilers are a poverty franchise that should be relocated to Saskatoon.
The Panthers remind me of the 95 devils with their depth. Great teams both. That Devils team was more than the trap too. The last two games against the wings they just dominated them like the Panthers did to the iolers in game 3.
After 2 games, people were marveling that this was the best, mot entertianing Stanley Cup final in living memory.
After just one more game…..this thing is over, complete domination, hand Florida the Cup.
