Florida dominates this one from start to finish. Florida's defense, forecheck and controling the neutral zone too much to handle. Resulting in Edmonton's frustration taking too many penalties.

As a Leafs fan….if the Panthers repeat as Cup champs again, I will gladly tip my hat & stand in line to Congratulate them. The Panthers have just been head & shoulders above the rest in these playoffs. Sure, the 1st two games in Edmonton were very tight, closely played, evenly matched( although imagine if the Panthers didn't surrender that 3-1 lead in Game 1 ), but seems like the further along each series goes, the more dominant the Panthers are. They just elevate their game whereas their opponents seemingly run out of gas. Just like in that 2nd round series, the Leafs played well & won the 1st two games & got our hopes up, only for the Panthers to take their game up another level & never looked back. I know people are going to bring up the Leafs' goaltender Stolarz getting injured, sure, but again, over the course of that series the Panthers established themselves as the better team. And then vs Carolina the Panthers just steamrolled the 'Canes in all three road games. Panthers might've even completed the sweep had they had not had a few of their guys missing from the lineup in Game 4, the only game they lost in that series. At full strength though, the Panthers are just better than everyone else. We'll see how the Oilers respond in Game 4, they're going to have to hope McDavid & Draisaitl can find their 2nd wind, otherwise, the Panthers look like they are in cruise control – although the Panthers themselves will tell you that there's no momentum from one game to the next. They're not going to rest on their laurels after Game 3, they will focus ahead to Game 4 and try and play even BETTER which says a lot about where the Panthers are at now. They're even HUNGRIER now than last year. And I think the addition of Brad Marchand has really energized that hockey club also. He practically is a perfect fit for that team. This Panthers team looks like a wagon. And if they are able to keep this group together going forward they could be the favorites again NEXT season. Which is real BAD news for the Leafs…..Lol. 👀😬😬😂😂😂
Everything needs a foundation and when you have a goalie like Bob you play differently, it's a Huge Psychological edge with this biscuit eating machine in your net, you play with super confidence that he'll make those timely saves. He's the best goalie I've seen and I started playing and watching hockey in 1965, there's a few who are similar but Bob is a fkn Machine.

I say it’s a throw away, you see it in baseball all the time, your team scores 20 runs on Monday and gets beat 1-0 the next, when it goes bad it goes bad but it was one game, I still think Florida will ultimately win the series.
