Canada hasn’t won a Cup because there is too many non-Canadians on their teams! Except Edmonton Oilers, mostly Canadians! As are Florida!
For all you Oiler fans, don't fall asleep on Florida. They play better on the road and are too deep to bowl over like Carolina or Toronto in the postseason. You have Bennett and Marchand leading the team in goals (both of whom aren't perennial All Stars) while Tkachuk and Barkov (both of whom are way better than Marchy and Benny) starting to shine Edmonton is in deep trouble unless they can start and test Pickard to be a super solid goalie like Bobrosky already is in pivotal games and the McDavid Line needs to continue to rack up points while Marchand needs to not score any goals for Edmonton to have a good chance of winning

Mcdavid has never performed well deep in the playoffs despite his accolades all season. I think stress kills his appetite, and he gets emaciated in the deeper rounds.
