  1. hats off to florida panthers…they really want the cup..not a first cup but 2nd cup..oilers look lost tonight, fans are expecting a burst of energy but it looks like there is no urge of emergency..

  2. Your sound guy is no better than your defence guy, hahahaha. You are a horrible coach. You and Nurse should both be flipping burgers for minimum wage. And where is Crysaitl post game? That sour @#$% puss having a good cry??? You will NEVER win that cup.

  3. Lifetime oil fan………..maybe it’s from all the tears on the microphone. For at least 6 years I have been throwing out there that Edmonton will never win a cup with Conner mcdavid, I have taken a lot of flack over it but there has been 10 teams that won without him. He is very skilled and no one could say different………….harlem globetrotters are skilled and can wow a crowd but they could not grind in the nba. Management has failed him by not going out and finding a goalie to close the door……….the Frederick acquisition is a highlighted dud of a move, you go out and get an injured player?? He never did much, could never finish and never really was the physical guy they said he was. TAKES A TEAM TO WIN! Still and always will be an oil fan.

  4. tough presser for Kris — only so many ways you can say they were a better team with a great goalie

  5. Pretty simple to see why we lost.

    -terrible PK and PP

    -depth scoring disappeared

    -goalie can't make a save

-all adjustments made by the coach were the wrong ones

-their stars played better than our stats

  6. Very disappointed about the loss. Okay let's start with what happened and how to rectify the issues. I've said this a long time ago that Bouchard has to go , didn't like the work of Nurse plus Skinner in net. There are going to be a lot of people that disagree with my thoughts of Bouchard but he has made many, many wrong choices and ice the puck as well. He can't keep up to the forwards that get behind him. These guys are professional, getting paid good money for their abilities. I didn't see that from the three mentioned earlier. I didn't think Jeff Skinner was as good as he played so I want to apologize to people who trashed me for thinking as I did. It was a great season and I will look forward for next year.

  7. Jeff Jackson needs fired TODAY for putting this team together without a competent GM Mr.Katz… Bowman had very little chance to
Fix the BLUNDERS of not signing Foegle, Holloway Broberg Mcloud, WHO ALL KILLED Penalties….and were fast with SIZE

  8. Call me crazy but as someone who isn't an Oilers or Panthers fan I felt like the Hyman injury changed everything. I also think the Oilers should've upgraded their forward depth a bit more and added a better RD than Klingberg. I feel like if they never signed Klingberg and went for Brandon Carlo or signed a Tanev in the off season they would've been cup champs. Shoulda woulda coulda I know but the Oilers have had glaring holes that have been addressed very slowly at an alarming rate. If I'm the Oilers I'm salary dumping Kane and Nurse and signing Ekblad or Perbix to help the right side of the defense.

  9. officiating was decidedly bad, and biased against the Oilers the whole series…..except the last game, when they finally got the benefit of 2 missed calls, when it really wouldn't matter anymore.

The NHL is not offbase in its thinking that the American fanbase needs to be placated and coddled, while Canadian fans can be treated with complete contempt…with zero negative consequences for the business.

Bobrovsky played a great, great series, and frustrated Edm. players to the point they didn't believe they'd score. At the other end, Fla. players believed fullly that a good shot on net would likely go in.

  11. Get a new goalie and learn how to defend get some defence. Defence wins championships obviously that was shown tonight.

  12. It takes a patiently and calm Mind to accomplish making it to the final round, the Stanley Cup Final, again and Kris made that happen. That right there, redines the definition of resilience of brilliance.

Like i mentioned in a recent prev post, if this becomes a trend, where the Oil and the Cats meet again in the final round…a true hat trick of talent.

Thank you, Mr. Kris Knoblauch for the connection, support, drive, patience, etc. in keeping the Oil Family together and for being you, as you set an incredible Life incentive of many incentives for the Mind & body, in a team oriented environment and self management!

    🇨🇦🛢👑👏👍🫡

  13. Florida, simply wanted it more! McDavid and Draisaitl, no shows, when it matters the most. Bouchard and Ekholm were lost in the defensive zone, and Skinner/Pickard inconsistent! Defense and goaltending, should be the focus for Stan Bowman, in the off season.

  14. What the hell was the decision to pullgoalie 8 minutes ???? The hell was that.

  15. The Panthers were a more balanced team, a grinding, relentless, talented playoff-savvy team, like the Leafs of old.

The Oiler's game is speed, skill, and offense. The glory years loom large, and brought great success.

Can Edmonton be more balanced, without changing their traditional strengths? Time will tell.

  16. Where's Jeff Jackson?? He gave away Foegle, Broberg, Holloway and the team had to find chemistry with a bunch of old/injured guys, and he never addressed the goaltending issue. This front office has wasted another year for 97 and 29…I hope those two get a cup somewhere with better management.

  17. Instead of praising the Panthers as a “fantastic team,” I would’ve rather heard: “We had Plan A and Plan B — and neither worked. I couldn’t adjust on the fly.” Because let’s be honest, Kris — was there ever a real plan to consistently screen Bobrovsky or make him uncomfortable? Or were you just hoping he’d flub clean looks from the circles? Bob tracked nearly every shot from start to finish. No traffic. No chaos. No deception. Even by Connor’s own words — the guys kept doing the same thing over and over with zero success. So what exactly did you adjust? You’ve got two of the best players in the league. Was the plan just “go out there, enjoy the moment, and have fun”? Because it clearly didn’t work.
