@Oilers d'Edmonton

Les fans des Oilers devraient être inquiets …

Sur Connor McDavid quittant potentiellement les Oilers d’Edmonton. Cela et plus encore sur la vidéo de hockey de la LNH d’aujourd’hui.

  1. How come Connor light up the league, but when he plays the Panthers he is virtually a shell of himself for the duration of the series. That’s speaks volumes about how good the Panthers defense is

  2. Hes definitely pressuring the org to actually take action this offseason in order to have a chance to keep him and have a shot at lord stanley again. Whether he signs long or short term

  3. He'll sign but it wont be 8 years. He'll do the matthews thing, keeping the organization honest about being competitive year after year. He wont stay for a rebuild, at least not during his prime. Probably will be 3-5 years and re-up his contract when the cap goes up and they have potentially defeated Florida.

  4. He literally just wants to see if management is gonna use a single brain cell this year and maybe get a goalie that isn’t a shooter tutor. I’m an oilers fan and at this point it’s a fucking joke I wouldn’t blame him for leaving when their GM is a complete dumbass and wasting 2 of the best players in the world’s talent.

  5. How hilarious would it be if he went to Florida and the Oil played Florida in the finals again next year and the Oil won?

  6. I told Oilers fans that their team's goaltending was suspect three years ago and they need to draft a solid goaltending prospect. No one believed me.

  7. McDavid has limited options because that cap hit means his supporting cast is limited to whatever is left on the table so leaving Edmonton when the team has made two trips to the finals is laughable.

    Where would he go? Toronto?

  8. Will teams this off-season be like the NBA the year before LeBron first left Cleveland… And clear cap space to make a super team. And with the cap going up?

  9. If the Oil can get some depth and a better goalie, he'll probably stick around and possibly even take another 'team friendly' contract to do it. If not, I'm betting he pulls an Iginla and tries to get on a team he feels is more likely to be able to win the Cup.

  10. He’s gonna go to a California team. My money is on Anaheim they have cap room and the pockets for it. Couple years they will be competitive

  11. Agents tell ALL their clients to play coy. They want maximum $$ offer from the owners. Its how the game is played

  12. Oilers are the oldest team in the league. I'll bet against them going back to a 3rd consecutive finals barring some major changes to the team.
