  1. I could see a trade for McDavid for Matthews in some way shape or form. It's definitely not out of the realm of possibility.

  2. Fired just about everyone !!
    Gut the entire organization.
    It’s the only hope.
Trade all those big money players for other players. Almost anyone.
Leaf fans will keep going and paying.
They still won’t make it far in the playoffs.
Or do nothing. If you enjoy the regular season 🤷‍♂️

  3. Ketchup (Tkachuk), talks like a goof, get some class you idiot, you're representing Hockey. Additionally Bennet does hurt the top players including the take out of the Leafs goalie; therefore, the Conn Smyth appropriately went to a true "CON" for the first time.

  4. "Hockey needs personality" when Panthers do it. "Boooooooooooo whaaaaaaaaaa" 😢 make up your f'in minds. Do you want personality or stoic scripted hockey interviews.

  5. Leafs fans do realize that the Florida identity was formed when Treliving was in Calgary and Tkachuk & Bennet left. Hopefully you believe that he has learned from his mistakes as this far it had been his trade partners which have benefitted from his management style. Signing Marchand on the Leafs does nothing. A pit bull surrounded by kittens is not a DNA change.

  6. How would they know. Watched Hayes, noodles, and Jonas the other week when leafs gm gave his talk and Jonas was confused by the remark DNA change. Then Hayes and noodles were just as perplexed and a few days before odog said the magic words, they don't have the killer instinct. Note the DNA change. All these sports shows and a lot of them don't have a clue.

  7. I love Mitch Marner and if he leaves we Leafs will be worse for it. he is our LEADING SCORER both playoffs and Reg season

  8. You are replacing a 100 pt player for a 100 point player! It's just that Leafs would be getting a 100 pt PLAYOFF player in Marchant

  9. "We do what the f we want" like give the other teams goalie a concussion and nothing happens because there an American team. The other way around, all hell breaks.

  10. Leafs admitting they screwed up big time saying we have to change the DNA. And they get nothing for Marner and everyone is now happy that Marner isn't coming back, LMFAO … this is screwed up! And other teams can't wait to bid big bucks to land Marner, and we can't wait to get rid of him. This all boils down to this Leaf team isn't going anywhere fast. Weird!

  11. Nobody knows, been over a decade since anything like that has happened, you tell me. You trade Matthews and Nylander, otherwise there is no change. Sucks with all this talent that Shanahan knows nothing about hockey roster construction. Dude is trying to win with zero grit and all skill for a decade while being stomped by teams that are just a little competent at building a rosters. The Leafs have been the leagues prima donnas for a decade, that will/cannot not change until 2 of the 3 Matthews, Nylander, Marner are gone. You can keep one but not all the same soft skilled players.

  12. it means ( and i hope) there smart and not looking to appease the fan base…… money doesn't guarantee anything in hockey… remember the new NHL motto …why play when our already paid…..

  13. League is a joke. This POS targets heads. Not only does he brag about it, but the league gives him an award for it.

  14. I don’t see how getting rid of Marner and Tavares but keep Matthews, Nylander and Rielly will change the DNA of this team. If anything, it’s Matthews, Nylander and Rielly that need to go..
