100% Coach had nothing for them for the final round. Which was very sad. Stupid moves on his part. And defense needs more depth no question.

Year after year, the same glaring issues — weak goaltending and shaky defense — go unaddressed, and management just stands there watching it happen. We’re not whispering here. We’ve been shouting, pleading, practically begging for change, and still… nothing. This fanbase shows up with passion, loyalty, and belief — and we deserve better. How many more golden seasons are we going to waste before someone upstairs wakes up? At this point, you have to wonder — do our voices even matter anymore?

The Edmonton Oilers should leave the NHL for good because they dont't play like a NHL teem any more. As for as I'm concerned, I don't even have a NHL team that I'm a fan of any more. I know one thing that these so called Edmonton Oilers are just a bunch of wanabe hokey players now all because they don't care about the game at all. And it shows.
I have been following sports for a very long time. I have never seen a team like the Oilers so distracted and so infuriated with so many people as they did this past playoffs. They deserved better. In my esteemed opinion, they should have won the Stanley Cup. Not saying they won't next year but they must adjust to the new way the media and the opposition are reacting to their supreme talent. The Oilers are the most skilled team in the league and I must say that whatever McDavid decides to do with his next contract, that is his business and his alone. The people who bet on the sport should be ashamed of themselves. They think they own McDavid and company. They do not. All those stupid sports books are ruining the NHL, NFL and whatever gamblers bet on. Time to get integrity back into the game, respect of the opposing players, respect of the officials and above all, respect for anyone and everyone who is involved in the game, be they players, coaches, managers, fans, etc. I know it can get better and I hope it does.

Easy to see what happened. When picks came in the team blocked ahots, they hit made it rough on opposition. When skinner came in they did that into dallas series. Then the got to florida everything changed. Very few blocked shots, very few bodychecks except kane who was penalized for doing it, and very little help for the goalies. Rhey gave up the farm after florida tied series.
They lost last year in the final in game 7 after winning 3 of the last 4 games so why change the team?
Besides goaltending, the team needs to replace the bomber. He's nothing but, an expensive liability.
