Does the potential 5m count towards cap? I think toews would be huge for schiefelle with faceoffs. And the younguns for leadership and calmness.

There have been many 37 plus players that play at a high level. Some names Marchand with Florida , Ovechchen till what is he now forty, Inginlia , there was one from Penguins, played with Mario Lemieux . So see Toews doing could. I like to see Ehlers, Perfetti and centred by Toews that be a good line. Through that out there if it happened it, it happened

There is no negative to the bonuses. These bonuses don't count against the '25-'26 cap. They will get paid out July 1st 2026 and count against the '26-'27 cap. The Jets still have money to spend.

Ehlers is gone, time to let some kids come up. Toews is the perfect add. I’m glad they didn’t blow their wad on Nelson, because he didn’t exactly light it up for Colorado; they had to sign him because of the huge price they paid for him.

The guy was about same level as Crosby. How’s Crosby doing he’s not the same as he was 10 years ago but he’s still pretty good. Yes I compared them and stand by it. 10 years ago lots of talk about Toews and Crosby every night. He will be just fine once up to game speed
