Bowman thinks the team needs to get younger? How many times a day does he think about Broberg and Holloway? I'd take Ken Holland over Bowman. No contest. So far, Bowman has made the team weaker. He should be fired just for Broberg and Holloway. Look at the strong contributions they made to the team last year. Can't blame McDavid at all for wanting to know what the plan is moving forward. The fact that he would come out and say that tells a lot about the way he's thinking. It says he has doubts about the way things are going. Maybe McDavid will be moving. I know he respects Ken Holland. McDavid to LA? If Gretzky can be traded anything is possible.

awkward conversation… McD/Drais were -7 vs FL, so need a close look at what they may need to do differently.. or if the minus was due to other players (errors) on the ice. Certainly FL was lucky w Marchand(6goals +6) & Bennett/Reinhard(12goals +4)… To me it looks like FL positioning is excellent & EDM is very poor, which is to do w Coaching. And FL shooters had excellent accuracy but EDM generally not so accurate. Media says Bob was so brilliant.. but if the shot is not exactly in the corner.. he is not really brilliant.. just roughly where should be

it doesn't matter what happens. as long as bowman/jackson/nicholson running the show, oilers will never beat the panthers. why haven't these guys been fired? we need the team that beats the panthers, one level higher. bowman/jackson/nicholson/knob don't have the skills

Hi Patrick. What do you think the situation will be with Ekholm? – he's the same as McDavid, one year left so he can sign an extension now. At 35/36 he's getting on and I thought when he came back he disrupted the nature of the defence some what. I think we have seen the last of the best of Ekholm – lets see, I hope I'm wrong. Therefore do you think the Oilers will leave it until next Summer and perhaps give him a rolling 1 year contract?
Kane is a productive good player with only 1 year left— i have NO doubt STAN will make big changes…….. Skinner & Bouchard didn't get it done 2 years in a row in the Final. At some point the OILERS will have to make Bold moves— so they DO NOT END UP LIKE THE LEAFS…….. Every year doing the same mistakes & wondering what went wrong??? They need a Killer 3rd LINE…..
