The Wings have to over pay for top agents at this point, short term still, no 5 year deals unless its Marner, but a Jamie Benn, a Marchand , a Duchene, a Taverese would make an impact, sign 2 of these guys, plus you have to resign Kane, and we need a top 4 D man and cut the fat from the team, lot of work but it could be done in days

Once you get the Subaru sorted what ECU are you going to go with? I'm thinking an Emtron KV would work well for this build. Can do just as much as a Motec but no need to buy expensive firmware separate from the ECU itself.

I feel like everyone is screaming FREE AGENTS!! FREE AGENTS!! For immediate bolstering of the roster which is surely to be short term. Meanwhile, ignoring the fact that yzerman isn't rebuilding this team through the free agency, he's rebuilding it through the draft. He's rebuilding the program for longeviity, not immediate results. The hard pill to swallow is that this method takes a lot of time. You typically don't see the fruits of your draft picks for 3-4 years, sometimes more. And yeah, there's the seiders, the raymonds, the bedards, the hughes brothers. But whens the last time Detroit got a 1st rounds 1st pick in the draft with a potential generational talent?

We have to at least make Marner an offer. We need a playmaker and a top 4 defenseman. Simon Edvinsson played really well for a rookie and Kasper played great. He would’ve had at least 25 goals if it wasn’t for Lalonde playing him on the 4th line. As soon as Lalonde was fired Kasper started playing on the 2nd and 3rd line. He even played on the top line. He finished with 19 goals. The guy plays a physical and smart game. Not bad for an 8th overall pick. I can’t wait until Nate Danielson plays for Detroit. I think he was ready to play last season. He’s going to be good.
I bet he actually takes the 13th pick and doesn’t bring in anybody on anyone’s list. We will sign some nobodies like he does every year
