Good decision by the Blues.
I know everyone's saying this is a weak draft and next year's is stronger. And I suppose it's theoretically possible the Rangers pick next season turns into Gavin McKenna. But that's not in Dubas's control, so it is what it is. Also, the draft is always a crapshoot. Assuming Dubas uses both picks, who knows, you could get two good NHL players. No way to say right now. But I sure don't view having two consecutive picks in the top 12 a bad thing.
2:14 Drysdale has been rather uninspiring so far but the last 1/3rd of the season he started to make plays and look more dynamic. The hope is that continues next season. Hope.

I will say it again: In no universe is Marner worth trading Stone/Karlson. Let him be someone else's headache. Vegas only cares about 2 things: 1) in the regular season, are we in the playoffs or not? 2) Do you help us in the playoffs or not? This dude hasn't sniffed this 3rd round yet. I came around begrudgingly on the deal with offloading Fleury to get Eichel. I cannot see losing either of those 2 to get Marner.

In the website articles to the Blues website they’ve said the home jersey of the past 27 ish years (bar like 5 ish with the weird reebok design) will be 3rd jersey.

Vegas needs to move Petro, I never liked him as an acquisition. Overrated, takes really badly times stupid penalties that cost us a few playoff games over the years and he’s getting old. He still has value so you can get something out of him, but he has to go. His cap hit is too high especially upon bringing in hanafin, and you can’t move Theo or hanafin they’re your top young defensemen.
Leafs fans will never learn. We keep running our players out of town so they go win elsewhere all the while showing the rest of the league how we treat them. Tyler Bozak, Phil Kessel, Larrry Murphy, Nazem Kadri all won cups somewhere else. The Leafs historically have never stuck with their core whereas other teams have. And where has that thinking gotten us since 1967? Keep a core. If they win great. If not, please stop bashing them saying "That guy was incapable of winning". Its a dumb mentality which has been proved false many times.
