  1. Jonathan Drouin 2.0, great skills but no grit. This is a typical Bruins pick in this day and age. Hometown politics had a play in this. Disappointing.

  2. good value pick some thought was the best overall.i personally wish they traded down a few picks and taken justin carbonneau but they did pretty good and projests to be a great player!not happy that he might not be able to step right in as he played in college.

  3. He seems kind’ve small and he could wear down in a long NHL season against physical tight checking teams. Nobody really knows, maybe his talent will exceed his lack of physicality.

  4. The balls! Hagens is legit. Sweeney will bring him to camp, and if he is NHL ready he will be playing for the black & gold this fall. Pasta was 18 when he started at Causeway Street! With McAvoy from LI, he will take Hagen right under his wing! Kid will forget about his dream for playing for the Islanders and become a full Bruin!!

  5. Theres a reason he dropped small and not physical at all , he might not be able to make the jump to nhl much bigger physical players

  6. I don’t think he’ll grow to 195-200 like you say, but at 5’11”, I’ll take 185-190 lbs. that’s 8-13 lbs. of muscle. This kid has a ceiling that is very high. His skating ability and vision is second to no one in this draft.

  7. Hey Kick do you think Matt Duchene be a good fit????????????????? He is older but short term and plays center

  8. Kid’s wrist shot is deadly. Reminds me of Joe Sakic. Great vision, excellent passer. Bruins got position they needed and a high skill player. Kudos to Sweeney.

  9. B’s haven’t drafted anyone half decent in three years. Maybe four. I hope this kid works out. A point a game as a frosh isn’t bad.
