  1. I'd give them a solid "A"
They did move the 69th pick to get the 79th pick but then also got the 108th pick from that maneuver which they then dealt to Tampa for a 4th round next year. Potentially we never see any Bruin player for that move but it is an extra pick. If they ended up with the same guy they were looking at for the 69th pick than even better.

  2. I don’t usually pay much attention to draft, but watching a lot closer since Bruins are in rebuild. Hagens and Moore both seem like both good picks and lucky that others passed on them, we will see. For Bruins picks I give an A, not sure what picks would have been any better. As for the Draft format… F. Seemed insulting to the players on what is a very important day in their lives. Come on GMs we know youre all old and rich but do better.

  3. did not think these two would be available. from what ive seen and read they are two very good picks. this first round was unwatchable. day two was much better to watch.

  4. Hagens has been a media darling all year because he played for a local college team. Sweeney had no choice to pass up on O'Brian or McQueen and grab Hagens. Had he not taken Hagens they would have ripped him to shreds.

This continues a trend of grabbing mostly american college players through draft, trades and free agents. As the Canadian and skilled European players have left the team the talent level has plummeted. They will be a bad team for the next few seasons. Pasta will lose patience and want out in a year or two. It's going to be very dark days for the next few seasons. Hopefully I'm way off and everyone will get to rub it in later. Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

  5. Harry Sinden often took the worst defenseman available…….see Gord Kluzak, Glen Wesley, Stephan Quintel, and Lars Anderson.

  6. The draft format needs to be scrapped and go back to what it was. I usually watch the entire first round but got so frustrated with the format, I stopped watching

  7. The basics of how to do remote Audio have been solved decades ago! DECADES.

As for the pics, honestly, PLEASANTLY surprised. I am hoping the Team does NOT rush these kids. Let them cook, as it's all about development for the 2nd and 3rd rounders

  8. SO PSYCHED!!!! I was hoping the Bruins would grab some more Safe, Emotionless, Spineless Empty Sweater defense types like CARLO, and HAMILTON.✊️ Pffft. 🙄

  9. Once again the Bruins couldn't spend one of these "PRICELESS" Draft pIcks on a Western boy with attitude. SMH 🙄

  10. It is encouraging to see high-end talents being drafted. Even if next season is difficult, we will have something to look forward to. As for the format of this year's draft, it was downright embarrassing.

  11. You definitely made this draft interesting Court!
Thanks for guiding us through this.

I've looked around the league a bit, sports pundits are saying there are a few franchises that kind of screwed up their drafts –

    Not so easy!
    Is it?
Perhaps Don doesn't look so bad now!

Bruins stole this draft with that Adam Sandler video. My pen pals & few friends around the world have no clue who the first draft pick is,

but they know Hagens and Happy Gilmore!
    😆
That was clever. Totally changed the mood, especially for Bruins fans.

    Good stuff.

Now… july 1st is upon us.
    About to get interesting
    👍
