Bouch is not an elite D man – Oilers now have too many high D with POOR D skills – should have traded Nurse but too high for what others get – Bouch only has a shot & definitely doesn’t have the confidence of goalies or other D – Oil just screwed themselves with MCD – McD is gone – no money left to revamp the so called bottom 6 – Bouch is NOT in the same level as Makar – give your head a shake

We only paid Pronger 5 million. Which adjusted for inflation would be about 7.6 million today. Wtf? Bouchard defensively is like a traffic cone. Who cares about his shot.
Dom Luszczyszyn, a guy who's pretty widely respected in NHL analytics, has Bouchard's market value at 12.8m per season, so take that for what it's worth. He called this a "fantastic deal" for the Oilers.
Personally, taken the term into consideration, I think it's fine. Nothing fantastic, nothing terrible. The four year is our window to win with McDavid (assuming he stays) and Drai still in peak prime years.
