Preds also retained 50% of Sissons contract. There was also a conditional 2027 3rd sent to Preds with Hague, upgrades to a 2nd if VGK win cup. I think the Marner sign and trade likely proceeds now. Sissons would be viewed as Roy replacement.
Marner signing in 3…2…… Now ask yourselves when they sign him, did they REALLY wait until 7/1 to communicate with Marner's team? I think not….
Damn the pieces to the puzzle 🧩 are starting to come together. I’m a fan of LA,ANA,VGK and Hague is a physical above average defenseman in my opinion he deserves a raise for sure and was a contributing player to their Cup winning. LTIR is going to be active soon too in Vegas. Thanks for the update
I think this is a solid deal for Nasville, Hague contract a bit steep but he's alot younger amd good ROI for Preds, way to go Barry Trotz !!!

this Marner saga is one of the messiest break ups I've seen in the NHL. i really hope we get him after all this drama. probably will tho since we got another C so that leaves Roy, the rumored trade piece, the odd man out

Intriguing, something must of went south with the Marner deal ? Or was there anything there from the beginning? We shall see .
Still don’t see how Vegas can take on Marner with less than 800K in cap space.
In Nashville, we just shake the magic 8 ball.bad season, meh draft, got Hula back, why? A lot for a below average team.
I'm a bit miffed , why do you think Hague's contract at $5.5 is steep. By that reckoning Bahl's is worse at $5.35 for 6 years is worse or at least just as bad. And Bahl is only 2 years younger. Both are about the same size.
This is a bad trade for Vegas. Not a very good return.
I think it’s safe to say that as good as Trotz was as a coach…..in the GM role he is not good at all.
Brady Martin will be a good player but he's not worth #5 overall. Should've been Hagens bc the Preds needed speed and skill. That, along with the signings of guys like Stamkos and this trade, show that Trotz is CLUELESS. Much better coach than GM.
Nashville fans are screwed for another year. They really need a new GM.
