Like what we got but what we paid is a joke. A 23 year old trending to be a long time 80 point player gets you back more than Utahs 5th best D man and a grinder. What’s worse is the Sabres had all the leverage and didn’t need to rush any trade that wasn’t great value at all.
KA showed why we want him gone, and he showed why he stays. He will keep the Sabres nice and far from the cap. Joke
There's a lot more to this story than is known or can be said on the radio. Peterka's behavior goes well beyond "he wanted to go to a winner" into the unspoken realm of "he's facing some unmentionable personal problem in Buffalo he needs to get away from."

Pegula not firing adams means he has already traded half the fan base. I've watched this team for 36 years and although they have rarely been a legitimate contender in that time it wasn't until the last decade I actually became embarrassed to admit I was a sabres fan. Now that Pegula has run this team into the ground and kept the worst gm in sabres history I won't spend a dime watching them any more. I am way too poor to keep spending money on one of the worst products ever made.

I don’t see the problem getting rid of players that don’t play two way!! JJ sucks at defense and isn’t that stand out star scorer neither. Paying him 7 million would be stupid!!!

I’m only half joking when I say this, but there’s a part of me that feels like I’m partially to blame for this drought 😖
The last season that the Sabres made the playoffs 14 years ago, I moved my family from Buffalo to Florida. Literally the entire time I’ve lived in Florida, they haven’t made it in.
I’ll be honest, It made me mad (though it gave me a chuckle in an ironic way at the same time he said it) when Adams was talking about Taxes and Palm Trees, because that’s the exact reasons we moved 😬
Just saying this because even though I’m sure it’s a coincidence, it sucks being away from my team and not being able to cheer them on in the playoffs the entire time I’ve been here.
