The Leafs were the only team that took the Stanley Cup Champions 7 games. If the Leafs had won in OT in game 3, they would have defeated the Stanley Cup Champions in 6 games. The Leafs were within ONE goal of winning the cup.

Unless the Leafs can get a top 2 centre 25 yrs and younger he should be untouchable. My guess is Calgary is holding firm on Kadri and will only deal him to the Leafs for Cowan. I would trade Danford for Kadri though.

Cowan doesn't look big or strong enough for the NHL imo. But what do I know. Soon find out. Wish him the best. Seems like Leafs Nation is counting on him.
If they trade Cowan I will quit being a leaf fan after 58 years of cheering for them .
