  1. I want to see Alex Turcotte play center in a top 6 roll next year. He's not a 4th liner, let him play with offensive players. Put him on the PP, give him a legitimate chance to do what the King's drafted him to do.

  2. Well I don't know who they will say goodbye to but they are crazy if they get rid of Gavrikov or Danneault. If they are trying to win now like Holland is saying, you cannot get rid of those 2 guys because they will not get back 2 key players like they are if you do lose them. They wont find a better or more durable defensemen than Gavrikov and they wont find a key defensive and faceoff winning center who is also one of the best penalty killing centers in the league. Bottom line is the Kings will not find as good or better players that fill those roles as good as these 2 do. So its insane not to try everything to get them back. Especially Gavrikov in his prime and Doughty coming to the end. So Gavrikov is that backbone defensmen you carry forward for many years after Doughty is done. I just don't know how you can go farther in the playoffs like they say is their main goal when you get worse immediately by not having Gavrikov and Danneault. Again, they will not find 2 players that will fill both of those roles better. I would give Gavrikov whatever he wants to keep him. Top defensemen in their prime who never gets injured, are what every team wants and very few of those guys exist. So to me its flat out insanity and instant regret if they don't give him what he wants to resign him. What he is and does, is just not replaceable. Bottom line

  3. I think Moore can bounce back and I'd hate to see him leave. Kinda the way I felt when Blake dealt Iafallo, Vilardi and company to Winnipeg.

  4. I think Gavrikov is gone. They don't want to pay him $7+M. Given the cap situation, flipping his rights to say the NYR for Miller makes sense. You could probably fit in Laffy, Miller, and Kuz for under $12M and still pursue Marner.

  5. Marner is out – he doesn't want to play in LA. Are we really letting Hiller make big boy decisions – after game 3? unreal

  6. Trades being made that Kings seem to be missing out on and teams not giving up all that much; JJ Peterka, Evander Kane, Trevor Zegras, Mason Marchment ??? I sure hope Holland doesn’t wait for a higher level player, then that played decides to go elsewhere….Could easily happen and we could miss the boat entirely on some solid opportunities .

  7. Brown did something the greatest player in the history of the NHL (Gretzky) could never do. Bring not one, but two Cups to LA. Brown’s points were good enough for The Hall, not to mention 5th all time leader in hits !

  8. Hey Eddie, Ralph Backstrom not in because of the damned/former owner of the Chicago Black Hawks. Bob Nevin-didn't he make it in? He played most of his career with the N.Y. Rangers. And, of course you ignored Terry Sawchuk and was unceremoniously dumped by the little tyrant/jkc after one bad game in playoffs against the North Stars! Larry Robinson…seriously? Ypu picked a bunch of retirees for us to claim? No Way. When the stamp licking fraud artist bought the Kings, he bought a bunch of Edmonton has-beens and never won anything-but my disdain!

  9. So what you are saying here is the the HOF is a statistics only club?!?! Shame on you Eddie!! I've been watching your show less and less and now I know why. Dustin Brown does not make your HOF?!?! I suppose Kopitar does make your list and how many cups did he win as captain?…… The best part of Dustin Brown's game is how physical he was. You might look up where he stands in career hits, since you are so hung up on statistics. Dustin kept the other team honest and looking over their shoulders all the time. Things like that do not show up on a stat sheet. DB was the prototypical NHL captain. He was not a rah rah guy, he led by example and as long as he was on the team, other teams hated playing against the Kings.
Oh, and Drew Doughty has won the Norris trophy. My guess is that he makes your HOF.

One last thing, back away from the camera, Dude. You face just fills the screen up and that's not a good thing.

  10. Hey, if I may chime in: how's about we make a mid-season coaching firing? (Would love to see Torts, especially any presser between him and Dennis Bernstein.) How about we get rid of Drew, while he still has some trade value. Finally, spend whatever it takes to re-sign Andrei Kuz.

  11. How many LA K in HOF? Answer is nearly 20. What's unique with Hockey HOF is that people aren't inducted and identified with a particular team.

  12. But Dustin Brown had four-figures in the number of hits he laid out. Many of which were game changers. Add up his goals, total points, and total hits, now you're closing in on 2k. HOF w/o a doubt.

  13. Good luck LA fans. You’ve got ex Oilers GM. He is a grade C- GM for the Oilers with poor negotiating skills, poor visions, poor draft results. He signed Nurse to a worst contract in NHL. He signed to Campbell that anchored the Oilers in cap management, and many mediocre signings.😊

  14. Am I missing something here. Give Gabrakov 7+ and then go get Jason Ro ertson for about the same b/c he is from here and will want to be here. Wouldn't that leave about 6 or 7 million under the cap. They need to play Portiillo and quit messing around with Rittitch and goalies like him.
