  1. Gotta trade Lankinen , Chytil and Lekkerimaki to get a solid 2 c and back up goalie. Lanky is a starter and I believe demko will return back to form.

  2. If the Canucks don’t get a legit #2 center, it’s going to be a long season. Can you imagine if Petey struggles and Chytil gets injured?

  3. Glad Brock and Demko stayed and resigned…
True Canucks fans wanted Demko and Brock to stay and obviously JT as well..(Before Horrible trade)
Fake Canucks fans Bandwagonners who didnt know much about hockey wanted Miller gone and wanted to trade Brock and Demko
By the way Sammy Blais signed with another team

  4. Everyone ccrying we Didn't get a C today. Grandlund was the only good option i would've hated overpaying for dvorak or sm

  5. Great Job, was hoping media didn’t mess up the work done to this point, now let’s hope Adam can affect a great result.

  6. This is a step in the right direction. Obviously they aren’t competing against Florida next year, have a good shot against the oilers, but this a solid group that can bring us back into the playoffs and get momentum going again

  7. We will most likely see a Center come via trade, just hope it can happen earlier in the season and not Trade deadline.

  8. this is basically the same team after the Miller trade. and how did the team do? LMAO.

  9. So Alvin seems like he's trying to pull attention away from Silovs great play in Abby. Instead of praising his work, all he can talk about is Ty Young and the other goalies in the system. What this tells me is we can say good bye to Silovs in a trade, and when Demmer gets injured 5 games into the season he'll be looking back saying to himself "Why was i such an idiot trading Silovs"?

  10. Goodluck in Deadmonton Silovs, sure wish this team gave you a decent chance here, but ownership and management doesn't have a clue what their doing just like the last 55 years!

  11. You keep selling that hope Alvin, those season tickets will keep flying off the table to the endless dreamers and corporate smucks……Sigh

  12. the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over n over again and expecting a different result. this core failed and needed to be punished not awarded. boeser and demko needed to go. BENNING 2.0

  13. Such a shame the media is constantly grasping at every straw attacking and trying to make the Canucks management sound way worse than it is all the time.
These whiny fans of ours are just as annoying.

  14. How does such a perennial mediocre team have no cap space…this is a terrible day for the Canucks. They’re destined for more long-term mediocrity. Players like Brock and Connor aren’t taking you to a Stanley Cup, even with Pettersson. Demko is solid—when he’s healthy—but he’s injured more often than not. Players want to be somewhere they can win and/or enjoy a great lifestyle. Winning clearly isn’t on the menu in VanCity, and it’s a miserable place to play when the team’s never won anything and the fan base only has one legitimate sport to put their anger and disappointment into when they don’t win.

  15. Brocks gonna get laid tonight with this move , his girl doesn't have to stress leaving the city.

  16. They should sign players who blend well with their core players… like 1-2 guys with Petey's style, 2 guys with Boeser,

  17. Boeser signing was shocking. I thought he was a goner.
A great person who was well coached under Tocchet.
Rick improved his game in how to use his big body along the boards while still producing.

  18. If you look at what was available on day one of free agency the Canucks recognized that the guys who could leave were better than what they could have signed. With a couple of young guys to add from Abby, they may be able to trade for a second/third center in the course of the next season if they feel it improves the team. a good day today I believe.

  19. Oh yeah play off contenders, division Champs, playing for the next Stanley cup. You see they got all there deals done earlier. The GM should be accountable for his bad contracts.

  20. I love summer and I get bummed out when it’s over, but it also means that the new hockey season is around the corner. Let’s go Canucks!

  21. It's important for the near future, whether they are owners or senior staff, that having a proven history for protecting players – from prospects to free agents or otherwise – that there's some evidence that they're as committed as those who devote their lives to the sport n' franchise that they appreciate their work as much as us fans. I BELIEVE in Allvin and Rutherford! ♥️
