Nothing shocking about this news. Not even actual news, just speculation. You guys are a couple of blow-hards trying to make your own news. Oh, and get rid of Jarnkrop. The guy has been through misery and came back early, considering. So not doing much in the playoffs was expected by anyone who knows what's involved in the healing process. Getting your legs back after that takes longer than the time he had. Been there, done that myself. What he does THIS year will give a better assessment as to his value. So far he has not had a single game where he could have been expected to be in top form. Getting rid of him now, means they spent a ton of money rehabbing him and dumped him before finding out whether or not he can do what was expected of him. Since when do you guys have the authority to say who comes and who goes on the Leafs? You aren't that knowledgeable and spend most of your time speculating as though you actually know what you're talking about, which you don't. He is unique. You're expecting great things from Matthews this season. I think he's still injured. If he isn't, he will be. He's nowhere near as durable as Marner. Then there's the practice factor you guys don't mention in terms of how Marner used Matthews to bank shots into the net. Ever noticed that other guys generally miss those. They haven't practiced with Mitch. Mitch was leading the team all along. I have yet to see Matthews do anything that would indicate he was or is captain material. The only reason you show is still streaming is because most of your viewers have even lower IQs than you do. Take some time, do some creative thinking and try to come up with something original for a change instead of your usual mynah bird act.

Connor Brown played with McDavid, but at the NHL, did they even touch the ice at the same time? Just because he's played with Matthews? A lot of players have played with Matthews.
