You guys got it completely wrong Leafs Digest. I like the passion you guys have but you guys talk so much crap 80-90% of the time. Leafs acquiring Hamilton would solve so many problems.. McCabe – Tanev pair 1 OEL – Carlo 2nd pair Benoit – Hamilton 3rd pair. Leafs can bring up Caden Webber and have him slot in and still have Mermis that can stand in when needed. Berube wants his lefty – righty situation and this D core will produce a lot more offense, and more importantly, Hamilton is 10x faster in transition of distributing the puck back up north
Devils have no need for Reilly. Also the leafs have no pp qb. Hamilton would be a major upgrade over Reilly in the regard.
If you can trade Rilley for Dougie yeah I think you should do it. We are in desperate need of a shot from the point. But why the hell would New Jersey do this. 15 goal Defensemen are rare.
Rielly 7.5 until he's 36 is a steal as long as he keeps his 50 point pace I just wish the guy would use his shot more. He could consistently be getting 10-15 goals if he did.

Reilly and Hamilton both need a fresh start but I’d wait until the 2026 free agents come available, there will be a great group of players to go after . I’m no Florida fan but there still the team to beat .
Anaheim has the type of team that can be sneakily good. Especially if they're goaltenders can keep it together. They Literally have 10 players that can hit the 40-point mark. 11 players that can hit double digits in goals.
Weirdly enough I actually think if McTavish wants out a Rielly for Mason swap makes a lot of sense for both sides. Just leaves the leafs completely bare for offense from our defenders.
Maybe Carlo, Danford and a pick/Robertson might do it. Mason has a lot of untapped potential though.

I’d take Really over Hamilton longevity wins and Really doesn’t miss games. He fell out of favor. Put him back on 1st pp he’ll be 50-60 points. He has a wicked wrist shop. I guess you’re the new whipping boy Morgan which is not fair to a guy who’s been there in the playoffs. You need the whole team. The bottom 6 has been shit for years next year it looks a lot better. Total 60 goals from your 3rd line and 30 goals from your 4th lines combined that would change everything. Thats why Florida wins. Great team through out lineup.
