MacTavish is just hitting his stride, does he get 6-7 mil over 6 years? He hasn't quite had the season Terry did with Getzlaf, but it's clear that MacTavish will have some good seasons, especially with better coaching.

I'm thinking (closet hoping) that the NYR are looking at playing out the '25-'26 season, sneaking into the playoffs, with the fall back position of "strong draft class coming up, Panarins contract coming off the books" so if by late January the playoff hopes are dim, they can sell whomever, and semi-tank playing a couple of youngsters, then be PLAYERS in UFA/RFA (offer sheets)

Good to see Jim Montgomery getting behind Tyler Tucker. I think if Tucker didn’t get hurt, we would have gone real deep in the playoffs. He’s definitely an upgrade over Leddy and Faulk and will get even better with experience.
Blues did the same start at wing thing with Robert Thomas. Really helped his growth in the league.
