Could not agree more about Johnny B. That guy is a hockey player. Give him two young guys on the 3rd line. They will form an identity quickly. The “want to” line. Berard and Otter would be perfect. Feel like Perreault needs to be kept away from Z and Bread. Otter and Berard look impervious to becoming soft.
IDK why you guys goe off of PuckPedia for lineup's. These are not always projected lines, a lot of these are just plugging and placing what they have seen before and what they think will be the case under the cap space projected. NEVER take these lineups seriously.
1. Soucy has 3.25m cap hit, no trade will happen without retention of salary and getting little to no in return. This is not a thing that should be done especially when he is in his last year of contract. Also, he is slotted to be 3rd pair D with either Morrow or Vaakanainen. Most likely Vaakanainen will play in the 3RD role with Soucy and Schneider will move up to the left side with Borgen. Also, you can't bury him and he has a modified NTC in tact. There is nowhere to move him with current cap constrictions and thinking that you will get someone to take his 3m+ contract on without any salary retention or bad returns.
2. Zib will be a RW with Miller and Cuylle, Perreault will most likely start in the AHL. the 3rd line will be made up of Berard/Othmann/new guy brought in as 3LW – Parssinen as 3C, and Raddysh as 3RW. 4th line will be a mix of Brodzinski Edstrom/Rempe with Carrick in the middle.
3. Schneider will play on the left side with Borgen. This is the best option for him. Also, playing on either side (left or right) is not hard to do. In most cases, he will be playing on his off hand which would be easier for him to break pucks out, and moving the line in the offensive zone on his forehand.
All in all. This is not news, this is opinion based content.
Don’t let Gabe go down to Hartford. Much rather him develop with Sullivan than the coaching staff down there.

Its wild to listen to the rants of this channel about players quiting on the team and how its about business. Yet the team doesn't have to honor its contracts. Its a 2 way street. A bunch of arm chair GM's and scouts. Can't wait for more of the Rangers that been dumped win a cup somewhere else.
Playing Soucy is 100% proof that we live in *The Matrix*…. and/or God is stand-up comedian!
Mika sucks!!!… That's why he is on the 3rd line!!!…. In fact, he should be on the 4th line…. where's your common sense.
All the 8.5 to play on the third line noise—only makes sense to a point. Contracts fall on the GM, prez and ownership. Having players on contracts that are over their head is all management. If they have Mika making 8.5 and as the season goes on—it is clear the team is better with him centering a third line and moving a young player like Perreault on the first line—sully is a bad coach if he let’s $$$ influence where he puts folks on the ice.
Also Fox, Bread and Shesty all make more than Mika—he is the fourth highest paid player—not the second.

It’s about winning the draft lottery next season. Drury will still trade Panarin, Zibanejad and others to retool. So we don’t care which player is in whatever position.
Rangers signed FA Justin Dowling to a 2-year deal today. And Carson Soucy does look like a dud so far… But we only gave up a 3rd RD pick for him, right? Pair Soucy with Borgen as they played together in Vegas and have some familiarity with each other
Why is panarin and zibanajad still on the team if they were the ones conspiring to quit on the season dont you think they could've been the first ones traded and i know zibanajad has a nmc but so did trouba look what happened to him

Mika does play better at wing so, aside from the dramatization of these videos, he will mostly likely slot 1st or 2nd line winger… As far as Soucy, I got nothing.
The Carson Soucy drama seem so odd to me, it's like we pretend to not know he came over from VANCOUVER. That last season for them was as bad as the Rangers, they had drama and locker room issues, that's literally why we have Miller. I don't think he's the best guy in the league but he actually played ok coming in with a chaotic schedule and having played his season on 2 dysfunctional teams. To write off last season as his last productive season and the end of his career seems insane. Willing to be proven wrong and I'll east crow, but I feel like he's getting conflated to be way worse than he is. Y'all wanted Ke'andre gone when defensemen are a premium, cool he's gone an Carolina is investing in him. Who do you think we're gonna get for Soucy?
His year on Vancouver was bad, but his year with the Rangers was "ABYSSMAL" ? Looking at his grades for his games played with the Rangers he's averaging a B+, what exactly did he do wrong?
Soucy was on two terrible hockey teams last year with rotten locker rooms. He will be fine. This channel would get more followers if they move off of fantasy hockey ideals.
I don't get the logic of going to PuckPedia and deciding that those are the lines that Drury is going with. PuckPedia had no inside information, they're just throwing things up against the wall the see what sticks. Drury has said that Z is going to be RW on JTM's line. Also: Drury traded for Juuso Parssinen for a reason. He is a fan, so IMO, the 3rd line center spot will be his to lose. Playing Soucy on the 2nd line over Schneider would be criminal.
Soucy only has 1 year left on a $3.5M deal.. with the stats you’re showing he had a pretty good plus minus career. Even last season he was +2 with the Rangers. I am not saying +/- is something we should always be looking at, but it is a stat and he’s been pretty good up until last season with Vancouver where he was -13.
Maybe saucy and Borgen can be the new tag team. We’ll see, they’ve played together before.
Also don’t forget last year every ranger defenseman was running around the ice like chickens without heads because they were playing a bull crap man-to-man theory

Get rid of freaken Soucy Drury… the great Margaliano …. the guy is useless .. and giving up a third for him even dumber … not evening mentioning the $ he makes … he sucks …. get a seventh for him and play Robertson
