Karlsson’s contract isn’t even bad especially cause we just paid the bonus but if we eat 50% of the 10M AAV that’s owed over the next 2 years which imo should be a no brainer we should be able to get some legit value back…… 5M AAV for a top offensive defenseman should at least get a prospect + a draft pick back 🤷♂️

I liked your commentary on Karlsson. I wasn't a fan of the trade when it happened (regardless of contracts that they gave up, he didn't fit with the team and it was obvious to me)…..ps Dubas' track record on goalies and defence have been historically bad throughout his whole career……but he wasn't a fit and he was coming here on the promise they will go for winning and like you said, like everywhere he has gone, the team would play around his strengths…and I dont' think that happened..
We get you have to make excuses for him, but he was never a good fit. Trading for him was a mistake. THE END
