The biggest problem I have is Benson in the top 6 it's not a playoff team…go get a top 6 winger and at least there's a chance at the playoffs. No way a team like the Sabres can have a 13 game winless streak again, go 500 in those 13 gms and you are right there.

First off you don't "teach" toughness. Either a player has it or they don't. Like it was said " it's easier to tame a tiger than put stripes on a pussycat" And the Sabres have plenty of pussycats. from watching the video & seeing Kevyn & the rest of the staff, you'd never get the idea that its been 14 years since the Sabres have made the playoffs. You'd never think that at all. There's no sense of urgency to make this a playoff team. And everyone has a smile on their face, having a great old time. Once again, not the atmosphere you'd expect for a team feeling pressure to have any success at all. Maybe there is no pressure to have success? Maybe they're all just content to have a job in the NHL & collecting a paycheck. If my goal was to make the playoffs & we've failed 14 years in a row, i'd like to think i'd show a little bit more desperation & urgency to turn this ship around. But that would be if the goal was to make the playoffs, what our goal is, is anyones guess.

Another 10 year project that we will eventually trade away. This team over the past twenty plus years cannot develop players.
