I take this comment as a notification to Bruins management to keep cap space available for him. it’s not just the money but the Bruins also need a Captain and he know’s that. Why would he say that while under a current contract?

We need 8 divisions to promote/maintain rivalries. The top 2 teams in each division can qualify for the playoffs. Home and home with every other team and the rest within your division. Boston and Montreal should be in the same division, maybe with Ottawa and Torinto.
