Thanks KC, as a Sharks fan since the beginning, I'm cautiously optimistic about this lineup. If the hockey gods smile on the Sharks this season, they could be competitive.
What I haven't seen covered is how many one-goal games the Sharks lost last season and how many more goals the forward acquisitions would bring. And, how many third period leads blown that the defense acquisitions could help avoid. You got stats for that stuff?
Misa? Going to NCAA, Grier knows and has loaded up on forwards already.
Reaves? In the name of all that's holy – why? THRUN had more fights last season and that's ALL Reaves is good at…
Sucks to see Thompson not there, I personally think he’s ready for a full time role
they aren't buying.
Trust the plan. Grier looking far ahead mabey more the 20yrs
I’d rather have dellandrea than goodrow.
You were impressed by Liljegren and Ferraro ? Ferraro is a workhorse, he’s ok at best. Liljegren STUNK.
Sharks want my Family in McKenna then expand as the first pick next year. Then build around them. !! What is very cool as an Irishman 🇨🇮 Olan Nolen like McKenna both Irish 🇨🇮✅️✅️✅️
Ferraro is a spaz
Surprised to hear no mention of Reeves.
Liked the episode but I think your lines are not what I would think would happen.
Misa I think is headed to NCAA (Denver please!) Smith is to play the wing as per GMMG (whether it is line 2 or 3 who knows? and for how long? As long as he can handle it).
Wennberg is NOT playing on the wing for either the third or second line. Silly thought.
I believe Kurashev starts in the top six and on the wing. Could be on a line with Will Smith but could be with Celebrini as moving Eklund to Smith's line would make sense. Smith has been a defensive liability and Celebrini is not.
Eklund is their best defensive forward and would help cover for Smith's greatest liability.
My hope is Dellandrea is moved. Scoring one goals in over 65 games should be a reason to move a guy. Gaudette can take all the special teams that Dellandrea provided and seems to be the only reason he would be on the roster.
No way Ferraro and Liljegren are first pair. Just no way. First pair could be Orlov and Klinberg but I would not mind seeing Orlov play with Muk (as they are both Russian and Asky is Russian so on ice communication would be a dream scenario).
Ferraro is at best a second pair and Liljegren could be either second or third pair. Dickinson is most likely the seventh defenseman and gets the Will Smith treatment.
Sharks still need a top 6 forward. Sharks should look to trade for James Mcann. Give them a 2nd in 2027 and a 3rd in 2026. If the goal is to get the First pick in next year’s draft and getting McKenna then trade Ferrero and Liljegren. Bring up Caglioni and Dickenson and let them play. .
We need to. Get you a sharks flag in your background
