Leafs are looking good, except the 'D'…they need a guy there who can play D, but can also rush and has a heavy shot from the point, i dont think Morgan is the guy, i think a move to a new team might ignite him, but i think he cannot fill the Leafs need, as a blue line threat…. i think the Leafs have done a lot with the forwards, now they badly need a D with skill, nasty, and a good shot from the point, that, i think, would make them a true contender

I’m no hockey expert by any means but imo the idea of patches not coming back next year is stupid. He played a key role in last seasons playoffs.

From what I have been reading, and it makes sense since Roslovic would be signed by now, is that he’s waiting on the Leafs to move a contract out to sign here.
Whether or not, he’s a good piece to take over Marner’s RW spot that is debatable…but if he’s still not signed, then chances are he’s waiting for the chance to play with Matthews again, since US dev program days
If he’s cheap enough and they have chemistry I’d prob take it. It’s money ball, distribute the dollars into the entire 4 lines and defence so as to not have as many weak links throughout the lineup like we have had in the “Shanahan Era”
