LOL, 2 million not a chance Robertson gets more than 1.6 million imo. He can shoot the puck but has nothing else to offer.

2.2 for Connor Tmmins is about right if you ask me. He's an NHL defenseman who can contribute offensively.
Even if he does get 2 million which I doubt very much. Timmins has a ton of experience. Robertson doesn't. I say Robertson will get 1.3 million a season. Even if he gets more the Leafs will likely trade him or if they can't he will be placed on waivers to hide $1.15 million of his cap hit.
You can’t go on whatever Steve dangle says. He’s never played a minute or hockey .
Timmins is a reputable Defensemen who can play on any team . 2.2 for timmins is average , especially with the cap going up .
You both do know the salary cap does go up every year yes? Why do you act like its news.. Robertson should be traded, or given away.
Robertson was a lot stronger on pucks last season, he needs to continue on working on the on ice strength and pushing off on guys.
Connor Timmins was never given a fair chance with the Leafs, he could never get a rhythm going by being scratched so much. He had an amazing spurt, where he racked up some points, then they scratched him LOL Glad he got a good contract.

…what are the leafs at right now…10 players for lines 3 and 4? Robertson likely to be a sign and then gone… he was never really given a chance in Toronto, shuffled around more than a deck of cards…different linemates every other game. Like many other ex-leafs, he'll shine somewhere else.

A 6.3, fringe dman, with offense, who can play the PP.. Is WAY more valuable than a 5.7, fringe winger, with no defense, that takes mad penalties.
Robby and timmins, are 2 different types of players one is a left shot forward that theres a lot of and one is a big right shot defenseman

Watch Robertson score over 25 goals this season but not on the Leafs.
Robertson has lots of skill but injuries early in his carrer set him back quite a bit where his size could not defend with bigger players in height and weight but when he played last year he did very well with his skill with the small amount of games he played but he need to buid more upper strenght in his shoulders and more weight on his body to to be more competive and the size of NHL players in the leaque now.
i dont care if the cap is going up its teams like Chicago Buffalo Boston that are driving up the price for bottom six players and 6 and 7 D example Nick Foligno T. J. Brodie Timmins Tanner Jeannot and so on Timmins was over paid last year
Robertson gets pushed around too much. If he bulked up a bit and played with more tenacity, I’d keep him around.
Robertson doesn’t fit the system. Trade him for some value maybe with Reilly to Pens
They need depth on the wing …at 1.25 m roughly keep him …more minutes cause marners gone he can be 20-30 goals easy …watch

Tired of talking about Robertson every single off-season… trade the guy already…. talk about not wanting guys here that don't wanna be here he's the only guy that's publicly made a trade request… although rescinded he did it. TrADE the guy for whatever you can get….
I'm tired of"News" people saying Florida needs to make a trade. Rodriguez will be moved… do your homework guys… They don't need to trade anyone… there's a very good chance Tkachuk starts the season on the LTIR. Giving them actually cap space to work with until he returns…
They need to find a way to play with less skill. That is probably how they always should have approached the game but thought they could out score their mistakes and outscore their lack of effective forechecking and outscore their soft game. Clearly that was a failure.
