He’d be worth a flier on a one year deal with a low show me cap hit, but on the chance he’s way over the hill and can’t even be a 2nd line centre on an NHL team, I wouldn’t spend too much on him or give him term. The numbers he put up were presumably, largely with Ovechkin, and that’s like having all the cheat codes.

Underneath %45 most of his entire career 1 yr only was like 47.5% in the faceoffs. Vancouver needing someone who could win than draws other besides for Raty.
Petey isn't very good at faceoffs besides this nethier besides he improved this yr it's kinda hard to decide if they can get him for cheap though kuz is pretty good at other things but yeah possession at the faceoffs is one reason how the Abby Canucks took control a lot and managed to win games.

There is a reason a player who once scored at a point-per-game pace was left by all 32 teams to sign with the KHL. That said, the Canucks are so desperate for center depth that he can be brought it as an insurance or as a player to push Chytil and Raty. For the role that he would be playing, the contract offer has to be highly incentive-laden and should be one- to two-year tops given Kuznetsov's age. The good thing about him is that the Canucks does not need to lose asset through a trade to acquire him.
