Honestly, he’s going to stay in Florida. Some things you just know. I don’t think I’ve seen him smile more than when he put on that Panthers jersey, and the fans have more than accepted him. That’s the beauty about The Panthers, it’s not a team. It’s a family.

As a Bruins fan I am happy for Marchand. Boston is in a rebuild they are giving Marchand a chance at a Cup for his hard work in Boston that's how I see it. This is why I am cheering for the Florida Panthers to be back to back Champs and for Marchand!

B's fan here. Played hockey last night and in the locker room I (sarcastically) said "so glad we traded Marchand". The whole room laughed that derisive laughter. We all hope he'll come back to Boston, we knew what we had before he left. He's a great player and a great person. Despite the rivalry I think many in Boston would love to see the Panthers win FOR HIM. That said, wherever he ends up we wish him the best.

What an incredible player – glad he stayed in Florida. Dude is going to win more Cups with the Panthers. Panthers are just a juggernaut that can’t be stopped. Marchand is like icing on the cake. Glad he didn’t sign for more $$$ to play with a bunch of losers like the Leafs. Despite all his greatness, Marchand couldn’t have overcome the comatose, lifeless, no heart or fight tone that is set by the Leafs’ captain AM34 and basically trickles down to the rest of the team. If Marchand went to the Leafs, he would just get swept up in the losing culture and wouldn’t be Brad. He’s become a loser himself. Leafs will never win with AM34 at the top. This decade belongs to South Florida.
