A good start would be firing Guerin and his Assistants and get a new crew running things in there.
A very smart PR move was to introduce the bright green and yellow jerseys…. looking more like the North Stars…and getting away from that dark green and dark red nonsense.

MN is certainly the fourth best team in the division. I'm not sure anything changes from the last couple years in that regard. FYI – Yurov's contract stipulates he does not have to play in the AHL if he does not make the big club. He will go back to Russia, or some other European destination. Overall, MN needs more size, or in Rossi's case, tenacity and stronger defensive play. With the addition of Buium, it makes a very good, but a little undersized defense a little better with his skill. We are also hearing he's put on a 10+ lbs this summer (god bless teen agers). As Rossi, Ohgren, Yurov, Buium and Wallstedt are all first, or second year players, they will need to have some measurable success this year. If not, the heat will get turned up on Billy. Oh, yeah, they still need to sign Kaprizov and I think that's a no brainer. The only question will be how long.
