LGRW! Cant Wait for this season 🐙🐙
Detroit is not Hockeytown. That would be Toronto, who hasn’t won a Cup since 1967 and they sellout every game.
It's easy to fix his wishy-washy prognostications. Just make Evan go first with his predictions.
Detroit Red Wings 2025-2026 projected point totals:
1. Lucas Raymond 35G – 53A = 88 points
2. Alex DeBrincat 50G – 32A = 82 points
3. Dylan Larkin 32G – 45A = 77 points
4. Marco Kasper 28G – 42A = 70 points
5. Patrick Kane 27G – 38A = 65 points
6. Moritz Seider 12G – 45A = 57 Points
7. Simon Edvidsson 13G – 42A = 55 points
8. Elmer Soderblom 22G – 30A = 52 points
I'm dreading this Olympic break.. cause we always seem to go on a losing streak with breaks in February. The past 5 years are not good, the last week of February thru first 2-3 weeks of March. We have a 25ish day curse always around the trade deadline that costs us playoffs no matter where we are in the division, and we can't pull out of it.
I think you're right with your prediction!
The only safe line is the second line, and the others will be tweaked over the course of the season.
My personal choice would be Berggren in the first line. The third line would be Söderblom, Copp, and JVR.
The fourth line would be Rasmusen, Compher, and Applton (if we don't get a top player soon).
On defense, I'd play Seider and Edvinsson. The second pairing for me would be ASP (even if he's not 100% ready) and Gustafsson, and the third pairing would be Chiarot and Johansson (if we don't get a top defenseman).
Goalkeepers:
Gibson, Cossa, Talbot
Substitutes:
Danielson, Bernard-Docker, Mazur
We could do a three-way trade for McTavish:
Edmonton receives Sebastian Cossa (rumor has it they want a young goalie)
Anaheim receives Savoie, Edmonton's 2026 first-round pick, and Detroit's 2026 third-round pick
Detroit receives Mason McTavish
(I read this option somewhere else; I think it's a pretty good idea for everyone involved)
Holl might be a nice guy, but he needs to be off the team (buyout). He's just taking the place of other players who are better.
56 days until hockey!!
85 pts or less in the standings. No one hits 80 pts. Seider misses time.
If you remove empty net situations (for and against), Patrick Kane is leading the Red Wings in points per 60 over the last 2 seasons. This while taking among the highest minutes of any of the forwards.
If you include empty net situations, Kane is still 2nd on the team in points per 60 the last 2 years, despite only 1 empty net point.
Kane had 16/29/45 in the last 42 games, after the coaching change. 18/31/49 in his last 48 games after getting put w DeBrincat regularly.
In 23-24, Kane had 19/26/45 in his last 43 full games (44 if you count the TOR 1 minute game), despite being stuck most of the time w Compher at center.
Can we get a Brad "again" counter for this season?
The Wings didn't improve the roster this year, while most of the teams in the Atlantic got better. This will have a negative effect on the players' point totals. This team will not be good this year.
Haven’t been tuning into the off season . Who have we signed ?
Laughed about the Evan contribution for point predictions for the team. I would laugh my @$$ if you asked ChatGPT or Grok for Evan’s point predictions and the response started with, “Ryan and Brad both made some good points. (Insert prediction here). I don’t know what more there is to say.”
#Hockeytown is Detroit
DO THE PISTONS NOT HAVE RED IN THEIR COLORWAY?
Also hang all the banners! All of em!
💯agree with Brad regarding the ‘Hockeytown’ name at center ice. It needs to stay there and should’ve never left. Also, bring back the hockeytown song after a goal is scored.
I really can't see an offensive improvement considering our lack of player acquisition and also how fortunate we've been on the injury front. I'm just hoping we can greatly improve our PK!
8:35 I guess I'm easy to please. I went to the Joe once, and I didn't get the "dump" part. Maybe I was just awestruck in being there in the first place.
What i am learning is all shorts are short shorts in canada
evan licking his balls…. golf balls didnt get much of a reaction , Im not mad just disappointed
