  1. Awesome win Mets!! Hopefully this will get them going!! And congrats to Pete on being the Mets’s All-Time Home Run Leader!! 👏🏻

  2. Esperemos que los braves para la próxima temporada sean el equipo que uno está a costumbrado a ver… porque este año Dan pena y vergüenza

  3. So happy for Pete. Daryl should have had way more than 252. It won't always be like this, but there's no doubt in my mind that this is the Mets' strongest lineup both offensively and defensively. Can we please stop screwing with it? Howie: Go home and take some tea and lemon (or a shot of Jack).

  4. Right now I don’t know if the Braves have a clubhouse or an infirmary. Trying to be positive though. But this season is cooked. Nacho had a hit. That’s nice.

  5. Braves need some pitchers..old pitchers that pitched for Cox wouldn't have pitched 2 innings..not 3 homers off one pitcher..watch some of the old games no comparison..

  6. Increible que para ganar tengan que hacer tantas carreras porque si no a los pitchers les quitan el juego…

  7. I get this is feel good but you need to do this against opponents that haven't cashed out on their season. Holmes was terrible again.I guess it was good to see Pete get the HR record but I'm convinced he's gone after this year and very likely to the Yankees. I'm shocked they didn't sign him after we got Soto has a F you to the Mets

  8. There's an analytic point here that I hope Steve Cohen learns: baseball doesn't always adhere to an analytic and it often comes down to trusting your instincts.
Steve Cohen and David Stearns, you both almost were responsible for denying the Mets fanbase of this incredible moment. Speaking as a Met4Life, the franchise needs to and has a chance to build amazing on-brand integrity with Pete's next contract. Which in turn is the keystone towards true financial longevity by recognizing good instincts in pursuit of baseball immortality. We need Pete to stay in Queens. And that goes for the Scott Boras types as well… baseball needs to feed the national psyche and these ever-closer to billion dollar contracts are so out-of-touch with everything baseball fans want to participate in. I get the nature of the beast concepts in play here, but you all are the captains of this industry and you all will guide this thing into the future. As a baseball fan who came to Shea in early 80's with my grandfather, learned to track-score in the game guide with my father, and now bring my 10 yr. old daughter who pulls her long hair out the back of her Mets cap… I want more 'Pete Passes Darryl At Citi Field' moments. We all do. As a fan of my Mets and as a fan of baseball, I've earned these moments also. Get these priorities in your next contract duscussions, all of you from both sides, and give us the game that we love.

  9. Now watch our offense go anemic again. At least we got to Spider…no one correct me please. With those thighs?

  10. Lets hope this isn't the typical Mets that use up all their offensive production in the first game of a series and struggle to get any runs for the next four games.
