Squandering a players development so you don’t lose a guy that’s replaceable is incredibly stupid and right up the jets alley
So, bringing in “vets” who have bounced around the NHL for years and having your youth develop so they will eventually go play for other teams makes zero sense. Can’t imagine players getting draft by Winnipeg are excited of the prospect of sitting in the A for years. .. jmo.
