  1. Nolan McClean. If I didn't know better I'd wonder if Denny McLean and Nolan Ryan had been working on gene splicing…

  2. McClean pitched a terrific game. That was an impressive outing by McClean. But the M's are not producing right now against good pitching. McClean is a great pitcher. But he is no Randy Johnson. If you see his pitches at least twice in a batters box, you gotta figure something out. The M's need to wake up. As soon as they meet unfamiliar Orioles pitchers and Mets pitchers in the east coast, they are struggling except for yesterday. They just simply need to wake up and figure things out quickly what's being thrown at the batter's box.

  3. Mets look so much better when their pitching can be at least average and when they can play small ball

  4. The one time all year the offense doesn’t go absolutely nuts in support of Woo. That shows you the levels of Jake deGrom good that McClane is.

  5. I've been saying it for more than a month, that the Mets need to bring up their top AAA pitchers, one at a time, and give them a shot to prove themselves, and, finally Nolan Mclean was called up & he was the ⭐ of the game, and the pitcher who got the Mets out their terrible losing slump.

Now, I'm waiting for the Mets to call up their other AAA pitching ⭐ Brandon Sproat, and give him a shot to prove himself, especially, since the Mets pitchers haven't been pitching well.

Also, I've been saying this for months, Mets need to not re-sign, Sterling Marte after his 2025 contract ends, he's an injury liability, and doesn't produce much, so Mets can do their Best to sign one of the free agent sluggers that will be available after the 2025 season, like Alex Bregman (3rd baseman), Vientos can relieve Bregman on his rest days at third base, and Mets should try to sign Kyle Schwarber (Left fielder, DH) who also will be a free agent after this 2025 season. Let's Go Mets…😊

  6. Yes, Good pitching, also because nobody has seen what he has yet . Let's see how good he is, after he's been around the league a few times, and the hitters get to see what he's got, Hopefully he'll still be just as effective as his first game 🙏🤞
