  1. It's crazy how Bedard has one mid season because he's on an all-time bad team and had no consistent linemates, and every analyst starts dumping on him 😭

  2. Remember ten years ago, and the geniuses on the internet who constantly complained that the NHL was conspiring to favor the Blackhawks??????????????? Where are these Einsteins now??????????

  3. Dear THG. In the rest of the sporting world and the world in general, left handedness is at ten percent. Yet in the NHL, there seems to be no shortage of players who shoot left handed. How do you explain this disparity? Aren't teachers supported to beat students into submission when they are really young to be right handed? Only one percent of people are ambidextrous and 9 percent of people have a mixed preference, so that doesn't explain it.

  4. Concerns on the goalie and hockey operations side, slight concerns on the D side. I like Coach Blashill. Hope he gets a few years.

  5. I think the main thing the Blackhawks need to focus on is making sure Bedard has support out there and take some of the pressure off of him. That will allow him to just play and have fun without having to worry about carrying the whole team on his back. Also they should make sure their new coach understands to let the young guys play and get that experience. The Blackhawks are also a favorite team of mine and I can actually go to their games so I want them to improve very much.

  6. Do i think Chicago is going to be good the next couple of seasons? Maybe, but probably not; definitely not cracking post season next year. As for Bedard, while i can agree he's not met the hype 100 percent so far, i still think he's pretty damn skilled and a lot of the hate and premature and undeserved. Especially with how rough the team is around him at times. I watched a few Bedard clips where it looked like some of his plays were a half step ahead from being a play a better or more experience player around him would have picked up on.

  7. From dominating the 2010's to being the whipping boys of the 2020's, what a fall from grace. Don't see them doing good this season.

  8. Most Chicago insiders have Burakovsky in the top 6. And the unknown is if any of the young forwards, Moore, Green, Boisvert Lardis make the team, or more likely get called up at some point. Local insiders feel like Green has the best chance right out of camp being a bit older, we'll see. As for the D, yes, it's young, but we need to see if we have what we think we have. There could be some rough nights, but if they advance ahead of schedule, then maybe, just maybe some people might take notice. Many local insiders have Rinzel as a top 5 Calder candidate.

  9. It's night and day the way Chicago is developing Bedard compared to how Celebrini is being handled in San Jose. Celebrini lives with Jumbo Joe and have Toffoli stapled to his wing, with some other skilled veterans being brought in. Bedard is living on his own and often finds himself the only Black Hawk on the ice that knows which end of the stick to hold, without any help. The opposition just double teams him and nobody does anything about it. Last season they felt the need to move Bedard to right wing because they didn't have any right shooting right wingers. If Chicago doesn't smarten up he could be a hold out for his next contract negotiation, until either the Black Hawks management convince him they're a serious organization or they trade him.
