Not completely comfortable with what we have but I don't want McCann a winger who has played center intermittently, now is not the time to experiment
Dach and hage are not good enough for 2nd line center…joe s Peter f now that's two centers 2 get a cup nick is sakic but dach and hage are not Peter f…we are ready blew it not getting zergas management blew it
I don’t know McCann well enough, but if management thinks they can get quality out of him for a few years, I think yes, they should do it.

The hole at 2C is gaping and trying to fill it with non centers Newhook or McCann reeks of desperation. Recall Drouin at C?

Everyone keeps saying Dach Dach Dach for #2 center. He is not good enough and is made of glass. If they are going to make a trade, make sure your trading Dach.
No trade, I agree…It wld cost too much for what? A 29 yr old player who does not fit our time line.
I say stick with what we have. I know it's heresy, but I'm not at all thrilled with Hugo's trade record so far. I don't agree that we're one of the most improved teams in the off-season. Losing our entire 4th line and great PK players (Armia, Heineman, and Dvorak) creates just too many holes and too much uncertainty. I think we'll be on the bubble for the playoffs either way…but I just don't trust HuGo to make a move to fix it. We needed a 2C, not a D and a winger, but they blew our trade capital on that. Let's see how that goes before making any more silly trades.

Fantastic base for a team with great trajectory. You don't want to push yet, the cup is too competitive, but in 4-5 years its time.
Definitely not McCann. If Dach , can't go ,use one of the young guys. Waivers might present another solution if the young guys don't step up in Exhibition games and early season.
