I think Seattle might surprise some people and sneak into 4th if the defense holds up. We've been betting on the young guys for years and it's time to start seeing some dividends from that.
They havent lost any games this season yet so I think we are winning the division

I still get confused why Seattle is so harshly criticised. Yeah, they’ve been mostly mid, but they’ve still been better than or equal to most NHL expansion teams after four yrs. Everyone knows Vegas is an anomaly who was able to swing deals that GM’s weren’t going to fall for again. Plus no other team had to form and initially develop during a global pandemic. I’m not sure how they add a top player. It’s not like other teams give them up easily and any FA options would most likely want to sign with a more developed team or contender over a still-developing four yr old team.
A team of middle 6 players and top 4 d-men. Daccord is great and I see good players, but none that push the needle. Good luck with Botterill. 6th in the Pacific with 78-83 points.

This definitely feels like an "earn your spot" season for Seattle. On the cusp of a retool and looking for trade targets.
