The OEL contract could be an “actual movable asset.” Sharks and Ducks are way below cap floor. They won’t reach cap floor this free agency either. Fines are $1-5 million and forfeiture of picks if they can’t reach cap floor by start of next season. Don’t see sharks spending $12 million to get there. Trade OEL contract to them and maybe get a mid round pick in return. Or Lankinen and his big contract, clear way for Silovs and Demmer
