Tkachuk needs to be banned from the league. Is it too late to exchange him and Brady for the Gaudreau brothers
Calling it the World Cup is silly on three fronts: 1) Soccer already uses it, so it looks like your copying. 2) Its hardly a "World" Cup when its all of 8 teams. I mean thats just two groups in the soccer version. 3) casual sports fans care about Olympic play. You don't believe me check the TV ratings.

The change in LTIR rules should almost eliminate the salary cap increase. There has already been a real lack of planning by some of these teams.

I expect to see al three teams above the cap having LTIR players Fla/Vegas and Mtl.
SO this strieks Fla off the lsit next we will see who Vegas puts on the LTIR to get under cap and who MTL puts on the LTIR I would not be the least surprised to see Dach on the LTIR and with Vegas it would be laughable if it is yet again Mark Stone.

Honestly I don't get people's whinning about the Ltir thing, it's like they think players plan on getting hurt and getting healthy is an inconvinience for them. Another reason why I find sports fans to be incredibly obnoxious and selfish, they should'nt have to miss the playoffs if they got injured that's just unreasonable.
So they are 100% planning on Russia being at the 2028 WC right? 8 teams so add Germany Czech Republic Denmark Russia. Can't see Norway or Latvia making it as the 8th but maybe 🤷♂️. Do the Swiss get a shot? A play-in for that last spot would be crazy for those Euro countries.

Of those non playoff teams every year, how are they supposed to feel about Vegas, an expansion team, never having a losing season. It stinks.
wondering why the panthers are loading up with so many d men. Salary cap issue only helps until Tkachuk comes back. Its almost like the expect some one in the d core to miss extended time on LTIR as well. I guess the first 4 months of the season is a tryout for who stays, who gets traded, waived, etc. a salary cap dump needs to happen.
