i am sorry to say , i wish bruins get next 1st choice overall . I heard the 1st choice is a generational type of player. i think Pittsburgh will do everything to try to get it (aka Lemieux.. aka Crosby …)
That 4th line reminds me of the merlot line. In an opportunistic mind set, that line can grind. If it works like it looks on paper the other lines will be better having a grinder line like that down bottom
I don't think the bruins get better trading zacha, not this year. I like the team as it sits, for what it is. It comes down to who wants to be here and maybe we make the playoffs. If not we have a ton of deadline trade bait, lots of grinders that teams will give a little extra for depth and fight. It might line up a 2 year retool while we're back in it and have prospects.
We'll know in February where the team stands. I don't want to trust Sweeney but maybe he's got something up his sleeve. Maybe the current roster was too good to lose. Maybe the underdogs have something to prove.
Im in it, I dont think we're worst than last year, not with skaters trying to prove they belong. Not with a new coach trying to bring back an identity. Not with a goalie that had the worse year of his career.
Next year will be better, just don't start planning the parade yet
