@Maple Leafs de Toronto

C’était pire que nous pensions …

Nous devons parler de la récente interview de Mitch Marner où il a parlé de ses raisons de quitter les Maple Leafs de Toronto … ceci et plus sur la vidéo de hockey de la LNH d’aujourd’hui!

  1. There’s now stories coming out that this is intentional spin by Marner and Ferris to save face – evidently the Leafs investigated and didn’t find the threats credible and the Marner camp declined the team’s offer for security support… when I saw the interview I felt sympathy, though now I’m curious if there’s more to the story

  2. Some fans are pure idiots. Thats terrible. But that was already well known in Toronto.

For me he was a good Leaf who never produced in the Playoffs. I dont hate him, wish him the best.

  3. "He never really delivered" Eck, come on. The guy was living day in and day out in constant stress and anxiety. How can anyone expect a player to play immaculate hockey in one of the top 2 hockey markets in the world? Matthews is also crap in the playoffs, guess what? He's next for the Toronto media mob and the weird obsessive fans. I know you're a Rangers fan, but you sound like a bitter Leafs fan with this one.

  4. Toronto fan don’t even understand and hockey. It’s marketing to them only. Win a cup or it’s a fail. 50+ years for a reason.

  5. CLASSIC *itch Marner. No accountability as a Leaf, no accountability after. Just sticking the knife in Leafs fans for sport.

  6. You sound as bitchy and Whitney as” Mitchy” I for one am glad this premadonna is gone, now if the pathetic media can just drop it all will be good!

  7. Id like to personally thank mitch for not only taking heat off of other fan bases but also ruining vegas's playoff performance

  8. Good riddance Marner.
Never any accountability with this player. It's never his fault. One minute he is a god in Toronto, next minute he is scared for his life. From threats from Anonymous Internet Trolls. LOL
Good thing Marner had a son. One day there will be a man in that household.
Mitchy looks good in his natural colours….YELLOW

  9. Bro.. A 100 point player and you even talk about him like this. I would get the hell out of Toronto too.

  10. Mitch has the most playoff points on the team since the core 4 era began. He has 7 points less than Sundin in 7 less games. Just shows how familiar most Leafs "fans" are with the team.😂

  11. He was a zoomer liberal; deserved all the hate he got boohoo cry in his lifetime career earnings. That being said nobody likes
    Toronto. City or team!

  12. Great player best of luck! Been watching the leafs for 40 years….. no cup…. I’m 46 hopefully in my life time before I’m in palliative care…

  13. many reporters are calling him out and claiming bullshit on some of what he was saying.

  14. Such a toxic fanbase… Sens fans knew where Brady and Timmy lived and the most noteworthy thing that happend is a bunch of kids throwing hats in their backyard after Timmy's first hat trick during covid.

  15. Long story short a lot of stuff happened to Mitch in toronto that never should have

Yeah the crazy fans were probably the worst of it, then you have Babcock abusing him, his camp killing his popularity with their negotiating tactics, some crazy bad luck in the playoffs leading to major humiliations, and a carjacking

Can’t blame Mitch for wanting out after going through all that

Now do I think he’s blameless?

No, if he wanted low pressure he should have gone for a 7-8×8 contract and he’d be untouchable while still being crazy rich and likely a fan favourite

    It is what it is

I do hate that the above things happened to him and I wish he had managed to win here once and shut everyone up

Ultimately I still believe this team could have gotten it done with enough kicks at the can (they only had to win once)

  16. Honestly, I don’t condone that behavior but I could tolerate it for the amount of money he has made. Again, just speaking for myself.

  17. Marner has as many points in the playoffs as any of his peers.
This truth hurts for Toxic Toronto. He had 0.9 points per game for 9 years in the playoffs, only 12 players better out of 1000. His team did not deliver.
Lets see if the guy(s) he left behind can do better. I know Vegas will do better with him. I will be watching many of those games. Good luck to Mitch Marner.
    Standing O upon return.

  18. I believe it may be easier to target, and also to hate, Marner over Nylander. Hell, perhaps Nylander is just that resilient to any hate thrown at him that he's comfortable being in public. Who knows. I was always under the impression of Marner being overpaid, never showed up come Playoffs, but we could also say that about Matthews, and even Nylander at times. Something about Marner just made it that much more exhausting.

  19. Marners highlights are always so sick. Been hypnotized by this guys hands and visions since his London days.

  20. Marner was the Leafs best player. As for the Leafs fans, nobody has ever accused Toronto of being classy. They'll do the same thing to the next guy in line when they choke again.

  21. Everyone hating on him for this interview.

Now maybe the Leafs fanbase can hate on Matthews and Nylander for sucking in the playoffs
